New Zealand company, SleepDrops, is heading to California for the Natural Products Expo West 2015 to showcase their natural sleep and stress remedy range.
Developed by sleep and stress specialist Kirsten Taylor, the SleepDrops range is specially designed to provide effective, natural relief to people suffering from stress and sleep challenges.
Taylor says she’s looking forward to being a part of the Natural Products Expo, “I’m thrilled to be heading to the biggest natural trade show in the world, and having the opportunity to talk to people about how they can get a better night’s sleep, without taking dependency inducing drugs such as sleeping pills.”
“We’ll be showcasing our entire range on display including ‘SleepDrops for Adults’, our best selling product, ‘SleepDrops for Kids’ and ‘SleepDrops for babies’, designed to naturally support your little one’s sleeping patterns, and ‘Day Drops’ which soothes frazzled nerves and supports sleep at night.”
The SleepDrops range incorporates carefully selected herbs, homeopathics, nutritionals and flower essences, all in specific doses to restore the natural balance in a person’s nervous system.
Two years since it hit the mainstream market, SleepDrops has become the top-selling sleep remedy sold in New Zealand, reporting an impressive 100 per cent growth rate in pharmacies nationwide.
The 2014 IRI Aztec report*, released this month, shows that SleepDrops has doubled the number of units sold compared to the previous year, and topped the charts as both top manufacturer and top brand.
Ms Taylor says she’s pleased with the performance and demand for these products, and is thrilled that she has helped so many people feel better during their day and to get a better night’s sleep.
“The report shows an increasing number of people are reaching for combinations of SleepDrops products to help them combat stress and sleep issues, which is exactly what we designed the range to be do,” says Ms Taylor.
“Demand has increased rapidly since we launched, to the point where we now have a team of six employees, plus a team of master brewers at four contract manufacturing laboratories across Auckland, mixing each and every batch to our strict requirements.
“We are already exporting to markets outside of New Zealand and have spent the last year developing processes to keep up with the increase in demand.”
In a short time SleepDrops has made an impressive impact in the health industry and has picked up several awards, including the prestigious ‘Best New Product’ at the Health 2000 Supplier Awards 2013. More recently, SleepDrops won the Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2014 for Best Emerging Business.
The success of SleepDrops proven through its large, nationwide retail network. Now stocked in more than 900 outlets across the country, it is consistently in the top five most sold products in health stores throughout New Zealand.
Kirsten has now established herself as a leading sleep specialist featuring on shows such as 60 Minutes and New Zealand’s morning news show, Breakfast, providing insights into sleep problems and chronic insomnia.
